BEEWHYPEA :D}

GATSBY :DDDDDDDDDDD LOL

i can give you gatsby, gastbyyyyyyy

you know i just thought of that. hahaha should tell camp com (charmaine, charlene, sheryl lum, rachel, ben pang, jeremy pierre, che yeong, wei sheng brennan). but anw, they did a GOOD job on camp :D

day 1:
reached the place at abt 1+. there was like a briefing and rae kept trying to play the animal game but we couldnt really play it. right before going to our dorms we picked names from a bag for THE ANGEL & MORTAL GAME :DDDD haha, i got joshua lau. mariann got charlene. we unpacked in the dorms and then had icebreakers in the park. there was the pringles challenge :D haha, so much food wasted. and a difficult one where EVERYBODY (all 30 of us) had to hold up the rugby ball with one finger and walk quite some distance. haha, a lot of the times not everybody's fingers were on the ball. everybody was like squeezing. and yeah, diff games lah.

then showered (if there's one thing i didnt like, it's the toilets. SO ICKY.) and then we went to make our team flags. mariann and i were in the same group (LONG JUMP :DDD) and dorm. and almost everything :D lol. then we were long jump so i thought of this "leap of faith" which we incoperated into the flag. haha, i think our flag is the nicest :DDDDD honestly. very funny. sherman drew some octavius thing and a teenage mutant ninja turtle. i drew a ":D". wahhahaha. aft that was dinner, worship (called vocal training at first i thought they were singing classes -.-) then a talk by chean cheong from YFC. not bad lah. talked abt what godliness was. and basically the basics of it :D it's holyimpics rmbr :D aft that was group discussion (long jump: daniel goh was the leader but when he wasnt there, jon was the temp leader. others were rae, ben pang, mariann, sherman, esther and me)

then we had PIZZA FOR SUPPER! :D thanks to uncle ben (our teacher last year :D) and aunty joanne. brushed teeth. we had DORM D. dorm devotion. where we talk abt the day and our feelings and what weve learnt. all the girls in one dorm and the guys in one dorm. ((: slept around 11+.

day 2:
we had to get up at 7 or earlier to wash up then go and have exercises -.- yeah. led by jeremy. haha one of them was the one in the camp vid. then we did our own quiet time. was abt the prodigal son that day, part one. aft that was breakfast :DDD supposed to be bread and stuff but then these other indian campers overordered their pratas and let us have the extra, which was like, A LOT LOT LOT. then was worship and the talk by the same guy. abt how we are trained by God to be godly. discussion. then. campfire prep. long jump collaberated with steeplechase (jason, sarah, sheryl lum, bjorn, tessa, ian tan, ??). we did a deal or no deal thing. where the prize is godliness :D mariann and i were the bimbo models. mariann had godliness and the others had ungodliness. sheryl, esther and sarah were like the charlie's angels models. and the last one was

LOL. okay i shall save the funny part for day 3. well, yeah he was on of the models. aft that was lunch and then a BGR talk by angie maniam. she shared a lot of her personal experiences. and she abt the age to start dating was "the later the better". okay so not an age but i found that well, interesting. i always thought 17 or smth. okay nvm. right aft that were games. one was holding up a bucket of water while taking off your shoes. and well, long jump did it first but we and another grp got dunked by the other groups cos some of them didnt realise that you couldnt use your hands (i kicked my shoe off the ground). aft the dunking we redid it. finished at the same time as steeplechase. hmm. almost all groups finished aroudn the same time. next was one where there was this sheet of flour mixed with water and another water-ovaltine-milo-soap-perspiration?-coffee-tea mixture. and we had to grab ping pong balls (or sponges) off it with diff body parts. when it was my turn i had to use my butt. DIAO. but you know while everybody was, okay i shant be corny and say butting it out, well while everybody was shoving there was this ball that rolled out and i took that one, put it back on the sheet and pushed it (with my butt) back to our base :DDDDDDD yay. and later there was more dunking :DD AND RACHEL BIT THE SPONGE.

showered, and during free time at first i practised a bit of softball. with mariann who helped me with my reflexes (sort of). she did some netball thing with me. yeah. then went to the meeting room. okay, so well, back to angel mortal. (i rmbr when james saw my first letter he said "wah so long!") okay benedict (i cant say ben cos there are so many bens! ben soh ben chia ben pang uncle ben.. uhh.) said my angel was in the room. the meeting room. and well, i asked questions which went unanswered. then we practised the deal or no deal thing. yeah, had to be bimbotic. and you know we had to "audit"? AND MARIANN PASSED WITH FLYING COLOURS. hahahahah. i did okay lahh. later when i left the room i had one letter from joshua (HELLO I THINK I KNOW WHO YOU ARE :)) and one from my angel. and well, i rmbr that amos had been writing a letter at the table before i received my letter so i thought it was him lah.

went for dinner. then more worship and the third talk. abt doing God's will. the life of godliness. i think that was my fave cos it was smth that appilied to me the most i guess. discussion, then supper. there was tao hui chui. lol i have no idea how to spell it but anw, i ate the butterfly bun thingy. hahaha. supper, washing up, dorm d. i shared abt the day. rachel asked me to. then we slept. and cheryl tried doing the 20 questions thing. to get us to fall asleep.

day 3:
got up, exercises (led by ben pang) which were a bit more physical than day2's. then qt. part two of the prodigal son. like part one was straying, part two was returning (: yeah. breakfast. no prata. biscuits and bread. worship and talk. abt the heart of godliness. the dangers and simpilicity in how we can obey God. then there were diff sports. like, captains ball. only girls could score. i rmbr scoring one goal, but that was it. i didnt get the ball that much. later we regrouped. played modified rugby. with jason, tess, jeremy and charmaine. the last time i played rugby of some sort was like, last year. so well i didnt rmbr the rules. and just abt a lot of stuff. yeah. then was lunch. and freetime. couldnt practise softball. we were doing some more stuff in prep for the campfire performance.

right aft that we went on a manhunt. we had to catch a criminal hiding somewhere in the park, bring that person back to sheryl, the jailer but with 10 gold coins. and to get gold coins we had to give or do things for charmaine, the banker. we regrouped. bjorn, jon lee, mel loon, james lau, daniel goh and i. i gave 5 neos for a coin. daniel goh gave 5 strands of leg hair for a coin :D hahahaha. 20 dead leaves for a coin. bjorn had a made in china cap. another coin. and we memorised the camp verse, 1 tim 4:8, while doing star jumps. i have yet to memorise it in KJV. had to say it in NIV. that was for 2 coins. oh and the funny part. we made female swimsuits for our two male members. hahaha. jon and daniel. and jon's was a bikini, with a neckstrap. LOL. and he stuffed his bra at the end :DDDDD daniel's was a one-piece criss cross suit. and they pasted on ciruclar part saying "hey baby, ive been waiting for you so long" from the long john's ad. that part had the prawn and they put it on the right part of his chest and then the chicken was on the left :DDDD lol. seriously funny. and there were masked men (sherman and ben pang) who would take away our gold coins or make us do smth for them. well it was supposed to teach us abt godliness lah. the pursuit for godliness, the training, the obstacles. we were the first :D then we played

WATERBOMBS.

we were supposed to bomb the criminals. sheryl won. cos most of her shirt was wet, but other criminals had their whole shirt wet (jeremy was like running away instead of asking us to protect him. haha, we was like fending for himself). aft that we bathed and then prepared some more for the performance. (: then sherman (was it sherman?) came up with this idea. since jon was supposed to say hi ladies, bjorn had to be a lady and he came up with the name BJORNCE, so it's pronounced BEYONCE/BEYORNCE. :DDDD so cool. and he even was made to sway the case and sing "to the left to the left, everything you own in the box to the left". :DDDDDD lol. then well, we had like our rehearsal a few times. (: man, ann and i were acting so bimbotic for the skit.

bbq dinner :D beef and chicken took a long time to come. and the beef was pretty bloody. haha, i had iced peach tea :D ben (unless mentioned with another surname, just take it as benedict) told me my angel was behind me, but i saw pierre and charmaine and ppl. then he said that my angel just walked away and i saw amos. and i was like, amos? and he said yeah. so my suspicions were correct. :D there were a lot of visitors coming to see the performances. later my aunty and becky and sheryl hong came. they brought supper. (before camp my aunty asked what i wanted for supper. i said ice cream and she said ppl dont usually eat that for supper. then i said cake. and then a lot of other stuff. but later. she brought both the ice cream AND chocolate cake. :D)

then, aft worship, rae had asked us to share before, so later ann and i went up to talk abt the camp. i said i liked almost everything (which is true :D). and later some other ppl went up to share. then the other group did their skit. abt channel surfing. che yong was the leader of the backstreet boys. they did I WANT IT THAT WAY. and at the end everybody did i want it God's way :D haha. then it was our skit. they laughed just as much i guess. (btw, tessa does win the godliness prize.) i had to do that milk powder ad thing. and ian tan and daniel did the gatsby ad. the i can give you gatsby one. well, nobody won of course. and bjornce and an impromtu collberation with the backsreet boys. :D bejornce danced. BSB sang. :DDD then we ate supper :DDD

went back for dorm d. everybody shared. i shared abt what i thought the diff parts of the manhunt represented, in terms of godliness. yeah. (((: oh, by the time we finished dorm d, it was almost midnight. the bbq was extended cos the food took a long time. the performances were extended cos of the impromtu thing. supper was extended cos it was also like part two of the bbq. so, by the time we washed up, it was already

day 4:
thursday. THE LAST DAY :(( so sad. yeah, well, we were allowed to stay up til 3am. at first i was clearing the angel mortal board like every night. it's quite nice actually. lol. and that morning was really funny. haha, cant say here. and well, everybody went down to the canteen and played stuff. first i played telepathy. then this sleeping queens game. at 2+ i went up to sleep. i was the first in my dorm to sleep. i think by the time i slept it was 2.20 or 2.30. other ppl came in by 3 later. i woke up at 8.15. so that's abt 6 hours of sleep. they extended the wake up time by abt 1h. washed up, qt abt job, his godliness in suffering. joy and continiuos obedience to God (: then went for breakfast. i was among the last to go down. had ann's nice granola bar for breakfast. went to pack our bags and then went to the meeting room.

REVEALING OF ANGELS :D yayyy. okay, well, ann figured out that her angel was jeremy. and yes. mine was amos. ben chia was so bad. when it was amos' turn to reveal his mortal, ben chia was like, "oh, this one must see!" and i told him abt it during lunch and he was like, "no, he must see, watch his step". HA HA. joshua wasnt there. but i still said that he was my mortal. mel didnt write to pierre at all. her mortal. ha. i cant rmbr everybody's angel and mortal. but i rmbr a few.

lunch. they saved the best for last. haha. then there was the last talk. i think this one was the second best. yeah. the way of Godliness. sorta did case studies. then aft that everybody had to say smth abt what we learnt, at any point in camp. yeah. i think i was really touched when we started singing amazing grace. sherman initiated. i dont know why lah. then later, we sang the camp song. (: brennan wrote it btw. and later. we went home. yeahh. aunty pam gave me a ride back from church :D sheryl lum stays near me :D hehee.
